TERMS OF SERVICE
Clear terms for a trusted workspace.
These terms govern access to Vault18 and the Vault18 Vault browser extension. Effective July 26, 2026.
Agreement and eligibility
By accessing Vault18, you agree to these terms and any organization order or agreement that applies to your workspace. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and authorized by the organization whose workspace you use.
Accounts and administrators
Access is invitation only. Keep account credentials and recovery methods secure, use required multi-factor authentication, and promptly report suspected compromise. Organization owners and administrators control membership, domains, branding, roles, and record grants. Their actions may affect your access and the retention of organization data.
Acceptable use
Do not use Vault18 to violate law or third-party rights; probe, disrupt, or bypass security controls; distribute malware; access another tenant or record without authorization; or resell the service unless a written agreement permits it. Security research requires prior written authorization.
Your data and encryption responsibilities
You retain rights in data you submit. You authorize Vault18 and its service providers to process encrypted content and service metadata as needed to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for lawful collection and sharing, accurate access grants, secure master-password management, and maintaining any recovery material your organization requires.
Vault18 is designed so that master passwords and plaintext vault records are unavailable to the service. Lost master passwords or private recovery material may make encrypted information permanently unrecoverable.
Software and browser extension
Vault18 grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use its software for authorized purposes. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute it except where applicable law expressly permits. Browser-store terms may also apply to the extension.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve, limit, or discontinue features and may suspend access to address security threats, legal requirements, nonpayment, or material violations. We aim for reliable operation but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vault18 is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties. Oronzo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss caused by unauthorized grants, compromised endpoints, forgotten master passwords, or third-party services. Any mandatory rights and liability limits in an applicable customer agreement take precedence.
Termination and contact
You may stop using Vault18 at any time. An organization administrator may remove a member, and Oronzo may terminate access for material breach or security risk. Provisions that by nature should survive termination remain effective. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
